Who I am

Hi, I’m Kit.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and AAMFT Approved Supervisor based in Las Vegas. I’m so glad you’re here.

Whether you’re looking for a therapist, a supervisor, or a mentor, you probably arrived at a moment of change. Maybe you’re untangling your relationship with faith, learning to live with a body that doesn’t always cooperate, or running on empty. Maybe you’re ready to grow as a clinician or step into supervising others. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

How I Work

I believe healing and growth happen in relationship. My style is warm, collaborative, and unhurried. You’re never a case to be solved. You’re the expert on your own life, and I’m here to offer support, curiosity, and a steady presence while you find your own way forward.

Who I Work With

In therapy, I work with adults in Nevada and North Carolina who are navigating religious trauma, faith transitions, chronic and autoimmune illness, women’s health concerns, and burnout. We’ll go at a pace that feels right to you, with space for grief, anger, relief, and everything in between.

In supervision and mentoring, I support therapists as they build their skills, find their clinical voice, and grow into confident supervisors. I treat supervisees as developing colleagues, and I care about the clinician as much as the clinical work.

What Brought Me to This Work

My path to this work grew out of my own life. I grew up in the Mormon faith and later went through the process of transitioning out, which gave me a deep, personal understanding of how complicated and tender faith transitions can be. Living with my own chronic health needs taught me how much illness shapes identity, relationships, and a sense of safety in the body.

My personal life combined with my professional training (medical family therapy within the University of Minnesota Medical School) and skills (several years of training marriage and medical family therapists at East Carolina University). Today, I bring both my professional training and lived experience to my work, offering clients a space where their stories, losses, and growth are met with compassion and understanding.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Finding happiness in life is an important value for me, both personally and in my work with clients. I believe that moments of joy and connection are essential to well-being, and I make space for them in my own life. I especially enjoy spending time with my family, baking, and hiking.

National and State Park adventures are a particular favorite, as time in nature helps me feel grounded and renewed. These experiences remind me to slow down and savor the present, and they allow me to show up for my clients with more presence, energy, and care.
